South Wales Police is appealing for anyone who may have seen a collision between a motorbike and a car, which occurred in Merthyr Tydfil on the A4060 on Sunday afternoon (8 June), to come forward.
The incident between a red Suzuki motorbike and a black Ford Focus occurred on the roundabout which provides access to the Triangle Business Park.
The motorcyclist, who is 68 years-old, is in a critical condition at the University Hospital of Wales.
Officers have carried out a number of enquiries, and urge the rider of a scooter and the occupants of a silver Volkswagen Passat to come forward as they may be key witnesses to what happened.
