A man has been charged with an assault which took place in Cardiff city centre during the early hours of Saturday.
Police are continuing to investigate the incident and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
It happened outside the Office shoe shop on Queen Street near the junction with Churchill Way at around 12.15am.
A 38-year-old man was found with a head injury and has now been diagnosed as having a fractured skull.
Pc David Howells, from South Wales Police, said: “CCTV shows a number of people on Queen Street at the time of the assault. We would appeal to anyone who was in the area at this time on Saturday or has any other relevant information to contact South Wales Police.”
Of four men arrested, one has been charged with assault and is due to appear at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court later this month.
