Insightful opinion and advice on how businesses can outgrow their competitors was on the agenda at a recent Question Time-style event in Wrexham.
A panel of business leaders from across North Wales took part in the 90-minute debate at Glyndwr University’s Catrin Finch Centre.
The event, which focused on how businesses can outgrow their competitors, was chaired by ITV Wales’ business correspondent Carole Green and co-hosted by the North Wales branch of the Institute of Directors (IoD) and Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM).
The panel comprised IoD North Wales chair Helen Watson, a partner and head of employment of law at Aaron & Partners, PR expert Tracy North of Outwrite in Mold, Jeremy Salisbury, founder of St Asaph accountancy firm Salisburys, Peter Denton, director of Penrhyn Bay-based Sunlite LED, and business strategist Jeremy Bassett, who established Corve Consultancy of Rosset.
Helen Watson said: “The evening was a great success, and I think everyone went away with information that was of real value to their business.
“It was great to see everybody that attended get involved with a really insightful discussion about today’s business arena, to the point where we actually over-ran by quite a bit.”
