North Wales business leader Tracy North met the Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osborne last week as she launched her new venture, DMPR.

The DMPR brand has been formed to offer an integrated online marketing and PR service that will run alongside Tracy’s established business, Mold-based Outwrite.

Tracy was invited to Number 11 Downing Street as part of a delegation of 12 SME owners from across the UK arranged by the British Chambers of Commerce.

The Chancellor had requested a meeting with established SME owners to discuss the challenges facing British businesses today.

Tracy said: “I appreciated the opportunity to speak directly with the decision maker for financial policy in Britain, and it was the perfect occasion to announce the launch of DMPR.”

Tracy and the Chancellor discussed the new venture at the meeting.

The formation of DMPR – which stands for Digital Marketing and Public Relations – sees Outwrite join forces with digital marketing agency, Sigma Web.

Both Outwrite PR and Sigma Web have more than 20 years’ experience of building and protecting reputations. The firms’ personnel have already been working together on projects for eight years.

Outwrite and Sigma Web will both continue to operate independently in their areas of specialism, with the DMPR partnership launched to offer a fully integrated service under the same roof. Both firms operate from Belgravia House, Mold

The DMPR team comprises nine specialist employees.

The private meeting with the Chancellor was arranged by the British Chambers of Commerce.  Tracy was invited as a long-standing member of the West Cheshire and North Wales Chamber of Commerce.

Its executive director Colin Brew said: ”We nominated Tracy as an example of a managing director who is thinking innovatively about growing her business.”
