Crumlin based Valleys Gymnastics Academy has just the thing to help you emulate what you’ve seen on the TV. Classes for all ages that will allow children to get that Gold medal feeling, using first class equipment in a fantastic facility.

The club, which is accredited with the British Gymnastics GymMark, also offers monthly membership for children and for adults with a wide range of classes and use of the facilities, which have recently benefited from a £60,000 refurbishment.

Non members are always welcome and there are plenty of “pop-in” classes for children to try. For children of pre-school age the club offers classes to get them started with basic skills on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning from 10:30 – 11:15am.

Children aged 4 – 7 years can develop their skills at a drop-in class on a Sunday morning from 9:30 – 10:15am.

Children aged 7 years and over can learn flips, tricks and further skills in a more casual environment in Freestyle Gymnastics sessions on a Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evening from 8 – 9pm.

The club also host a designated disability session for all ages, where disabled children and their siblings can come along and get involved. These classes are held on a Sunday morning from 11am – 12pm.

In September the club will give teenage girls the opportunity to try gymnastics in “girls only” drop-in sessions on a Tuesday evening from 8 – 9pm. These classes will be supported by Us Girls, an organisation aiming to get more girls into sport.
