The session runs from 3pm to 7pm, and there will a number of display boards detailing the plans.
Work is due to begin on improving access for disabled people and people with mobility difficulties as well as further works to modernise the Prestatyn Railway Station.
When finished, the works will also improve access to the Offa’s Dyke trail, the beach, town centre and nearby tourist attractions for all users, bringing the station up to date and providing a pleasant gateway to the town of Prestatyn.
Denbighshire County Council is working in partnership with Network Rail as part of its Disability Discrimination Act 2005 (DDA) enhancement programme. The work includes replacing the footbridge to the island platform and other minor infrastructure improvement works, forming part of a wider scheme of refurbishment to the railway station building, the platform and adjacent road bridge.
The work is being carried out by Network Rail and the improvements will include artwork to be funded by Denbighshire’s Area Regeneration department.
