Communities First Felinfoel has planned a half-term week packed full of fun.
From cheerleading to jewellery-making, graffiti workshops to kickboxing, there’s something for all ages.
Communities First, a Welsh Assembly-funded initiative run locally by Carmarthenshire County Council, has organised the activities for families and children from Monday, February 15 to Friday, February 19.
Community Development Worker Kathryn Newman, said: “All the activities we have organised during half-term week are free, but the spaces are limited so early booking is advisable.”
Monday: Graffiti workshop 10.30am-3.30pm. Meet in the Felinfoel Community Education Centre. (Please bring a packed lunch)
Tuesday: Family walking day, followed by pancakes 10.30am-12.20pm. Meet at Felinfoel Brewery bus-stop. Kickboxing taster session 5.30pm-6.30pm. Felinfoel Community Education Centre.
Wednesday: Art and craft workshop 11am-2pm. Felinfoel Community Education Centre. Boat racing 2pm-3.30pm. Meet in the Felinfoel Community Education Centre. Blue Light Disco (in partnership with Dyfed Powys Police) 6pm-9pm. £1 entry, children aged between seven and 11 only. Felinfoel Community Education Centre.
Thursday: Cheerleading workshop 1pm-3pm. Felinfoel Education Centre. Litter Pick 1pm-3pm. Meet in the Felinfoel Community Education Centre.
Friday: Jewellery workshop 1pm-3pm. Felinfoel Community Education Centre
Children aged under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. All activities will require sensible clothing and footwear. Squash and water will be provided, but children will need to bring a packed lunch for all day sessions.
