Concerns over the quality of broadband coverage in St David’s has been raised with local AM Paul Davies during his fact finding tour of local councils.
Mr Davies is visiting community and town councils all over Preseli Pembrokeshire to make sure he keeps in touch with matters concerning local residents.
“I am happy to sit in on one of their regular meetings, update them about my work in Cardiff and listen to their concerns and to see if I can help in any way,” said Mr Davies.
“I used to be a community councillor in Boncath and so I know how important it is to listen to concerns at the grass roots level.”
At a recent meeting of St David’s City Council, Mr Davies was told how poor broadband coverage is in some parts of the city.
“This is something which has been an issue in parts of Preseli Pembrokeshire for many years now and we are still not seeing enough investment in the right sort of technology to make a difference.”
