Flintshire County Council is to provide free marketing advice to companies to further support and develop business in the region.
Run in conjunction with Chester based Quay Marketing, the Marketing Clinics are part of the Council’s extensive events programme which includes its highly successful Flintshire Business Week, aimed at helping businesses throughout the year by providing them with the essential advice they need to prosper.
Held at Greenfield Business Centre, Holywell, the Marketing Clinics will take place on Tuesday, 2 March and Wednesday, 10 March and will deliver local businesses with free one-to-one marketing consultancy. Following the economic slowdown, the marketing advice is designed to help private organisations review their business opportunities and develop a more effective marketing approach tailored around their individual challenges and markets.
Elizabeth Wheeler (pictured), Senior Consultant for Quay Marketing, will deliver the free one-to-one marketing clinics. With extensive experience in both Small and Medium Enterprises and corporate marketing, Elizabeth brings invaluable experience to local businesses.
Elizabeth Wheeler said: “After what has been a turbulent few years for many businesses, it is now time to push forward if positive strides to success are going to be made. The good news for all organisations is that the cost of marketing is dropping considerably thanks to new media and easy to use database applications.
“Raising awareness and generating more sales has never been so affordable as more and more ways to market are established. It is essential all businesses adopt a multiple-marketing strategy and apply the right mediums for their markets and budgets.
“Together with Flintshire County Council, we want to ensure all organisations have the right help to profitably tap into these new opportunities, whilst helping to prevent them wasting valuable money on marketing that is not right for them”.
