Appeal for information following assualt in Tredegar

Gwent Police is appealing for witnesses following an assault which took place on Rawlinson Terrace in Tredegar between 10.45pm and 11pm on Saturday 6th February.

The incident, which was reported to police on 10th February, occurred when a 43 year old man was walking down the street and came across three teenagers fighting. He attempted to break up the fight and as a result was assaulted. He sustained a broken jaw and cheekbone. He was initially taken to Nevill Hall Hospital and then to the Royal Gwent Hospital for further treatment.

The three teenagers are all described as white males, in their late teens, approx 5 feet 10 inches tall and of slim build. Male 1 had short dark hair and was wearing a white long sleeved jumper with a dark pattern on the front, Male 2 had short dark hair and was wearing a dark short sleeved top and Male 3 was wearing a long sleeved dark top.
