Entrants are being invited from across North Wales for a talent contest for Over 50’s due to be held in Wrexham in May.
Organised jointly by Flintshire and Wrexham Councils the contest will be held in Wrexham’s Memorial Hall on Saturday 15th May. The show is at 7.00 p.m. and auditions will be held throughout the day.
Last year’s contest saw singer impressionist Johnny Whittaker, take the top prize and organisers are expecting an even bigger turn-out now that the contest has been opened up to all 6 North Wales counties.
First prize this year is a Pontin’s weekend break for two plus £100.00 and Second Prize is £100.
The event will form part of the Gwanwyn Festival, a month of events celebrating the creativity of older people.
