Fancy a cuppa? This Fairtrade Fortnight The Waterloo Teahouse in Penylan, will host a special tea tasting session.
On March 3rd a tea tasting evening will take place, fairly traded teas from across the world will be available for people to sample, plus Sue Fisher, a volunteer for Fair Dos in Canton, will talk about her personal experiences of visiting Fairtrade tea producers in India. Cardiff Council’s Executive Member for Enviroment, Cllr Margaret Jones, who will be attending the event,said:”This year the Fairtrade Foundation are asking people to swap something they use regularly and replace it with a Fairtrade version, with tea being one of the nations favourite drinks, I hope the tea tasting event will encourage people to swap their tea for a Fairtrade version.”
