Commenting on today’s launch by the Kidney Wales Foundation of a £100,000 renal research fund, Shadow Health Minister Andrew RT Davies AM said:
“I very much welcome the launch of this initiative.
“Up to 10,000 people in Wales are now suffering from some form of chronic kidney disease.
“Funds such as that launched today will not only further research, they will also raise awareness of kidney disease and how through research and support we can make real differences to the lives of so many people.”
