I am trying to trace a cousin of my Father.
I know it’s bit of a long shot as I don’t know very many details, except as a child my father took us to Barry to visit his cousin and I remember him telling me his cousin was a Standard Diver working in Barry Docks this was probably the early 50’s. I also have been involved in diving all of my working life, hence the interest in him, and I have started tracing my family tree but can’t find any link to anybody in this area either on my Fathers side (Jones) or his mothers side (Dyer). Any information on where I could find the records of divers that worked in Barry Docks or the Diving Companies of this time would be very much appreciated
