Details are needed as to how European funding is going to help improve patchy broadband access in Preseli Pembrokeshire, says AM Paul Davies.
Welsh Assembly ministers announced at the beginning of this year that communities will be able to access European funding to enhance their broadband services following the changes to guidance on Information and Communication Technology infrastructure.
“Many people living in Preseli Pembrokeshire are still having terrible problems accessing broadband and we need to know more about this possible help,” said Mr Davies.
“I have asked the Deputy First Minister to make a statement confirming what is happening, concentrating on how new technologies such as wireless services can be introduced.”
