Conwy’s Horticultural Festival takes place in Eirias Park on Thursday, 8th April with demonstrations and activities to suit both the trade and families.
If it’s family fun you’re looking for, there will be axe men and chainsaw carving demonstrations; BMX and skateboarding displays by Team Extreme; face-painting, eco-art activities and much, much more.
Businesses visitors will have a chance to experience demonstrations of the latest horticultural machines, equipment and techniques, along with exhibitions of clothing and tools used in the grounds maintenance and street care sectors.
Peter Barton-Price, Conwy Council’s Parks and Fleet Manager explains:
“Last year’s event gave businesses a great opportunity to meet one another and to develop a network to promote local business. We expect this year to be just as useful, but because it’s the school holidays we’ve made sure there’s something going on to keep everyone occupied.”
