Providing excellent services to customers has paid dividends for Denbighshire County Council’s Revenues and Benefits teams, after the services were awarded a special recognition.
The departments have been awarded the Customer Service Excellence standard, formally known as the Charter Mark.
To achieve this standard, the teams were visited by an assessor for two days. They took the opportunity to look at all the working processes and interviewed staff, customers and partners.
Only three other authorities in Wales have been awarded this standard.
Ken Jones, Denbighshire’s Head of Revenues and Benefits, said: “This recognition demonstrates the commitment of both teams to make sure that our residents receive the best possible service in a professional and customer-friendly manner.
“Staff try and deal with enquiries efficiently and effectively and we will continue working to the best of our abilities to provide the best possible services for the people of Denbighshire.”
