Swansea City boss Paulo Sousa is confident that his side will add to their points tally when they take on Coventry City tomorrow afternoon (3pm).
He takes his team to the Ricoh Arena to tackle an in-form Sky Blues side managed by former Swan Chris Coleman.
The ex-Vetch Field defender has guided Coventry to seven points from their opening three games so far this season and Paulo knows that the Swans will have to match their opponents if they are to take anything away from the Midlands.
“Coventry are a very enthusiastic team full of belief,” he said.
“They are also a confident side with a great attitude and we will need to match them in order to get a result.”
A 2-1 home win over Ipswich was the perfect start to the campaign with Clinton Morrison firing both goals at the Ricoh.
But after League One Hartlepool dumped them out of the Carling Cup they bounced back to win comfortably at Barnsley (2-0) last weekend before taking a point away from Doncaster in midweek.
“I’m not surprised by Coventry’s start at all,” added Paulo.
“It won’t be easy going to face a side in the form that they are in and as I’ve said we’ll have to match them.
“You can’t be surprised in the Championship – every team will have their good moments and bad moments during the season.
“It is a tough competition and you need to have confidence in yourself.”
The Swans have found the net just once in their three league games to date but the Portuguese legend has belief in his squad to score goals.
“It’s just a matter of time before we put the ball in the net.
“We do create chances, as everybody saw on Tuesday night against Reading, and I believe that I have the quality in my squad, in every position, to score goals.”
There are no fresh injury worries for the visitors who could welcome new recruit Jordi Lopez back to the side after the midfielder missed the last two games with a dead leg.
Fellow midfielder Joe Allen (hamstring) is also nearing a return to full fitness while Darren Pratley (shoulder), Tom Butler (hernia) and Ferrie Bodde (knee) are all making positive progress.
