Schools in Penlan have been marking the countdown to the World Cup in the Penlan Policing Sector’s annual school football tournament.
Pupils from Daniel James Comprehensive stepped in as referees for the tournament which featured primary school children from Gendros, Gwyrosydd, Clwyd, Affryn, Blaenymaes and Portmead.
This year’s winners were Gendros Primary School. They are pictured with celebrity visitor Sean McDonald from Swansea City FC who presented the medals along with referees Kyle Copp, Ryan Hurlow, Kieran Whitelock and Bradley Eynon-Davies from Daniel James.
