Boys and girls are invited to take part in a Friday Night Street Soccer project kicking off in Treorchy on Friday, June 11, 2010.
The project will run from 6-8pm for five weeks on Friday evenings in partnership with Cardiff City Football foundation, on land next to Treorchy Boys’ and Girls’ Club, off Station Road, Treorchy.
It will involve soccer skills rather than traditional five-a-side, and there will be a World Cup theme every Friday, including Brazil night and Holland night. Boys and girls aged 13 and over are welcome and participation is free of charge.

Members of the local Neighbourhood Policing Team will be attending, supporting sports staff and engaging with young people taking part.
