Talented pupils from three primary schools will have their handywork on display at a quiltwork exhibition going on show at Ruthin Craft Centre this weekend.
Denbighshire County Council’s Arts in Schools service and Flintshire County Council’s Arts, Culture and Events Section, in partnership with Ruthin Craft Centre, are arranging an exhibition of quilts made by pupils from Ysgol Llanfair Dyffryn Clwyd, Ysgol Croes Atti (Flint) and Ysgol Rhes y Cae.
The quilts, which will form part of the ‘Milltir Sgwar’ exhibition, were created in workshops with artist Cefyn Burgess. As supporters of Cefyn’s work, Ruthin Craft Centre is highlighting the fantastic work that he has been doing with the local community.
A private viewing of the exhibition will be held at the Craft Centre 1.30 – 2.30pm on Friday 25 June and the exhibition can be seen until the 27 of June. The exhibition will. be located in a temporary exhibition space in one of the centre’s studios.
