The next generation of homegrown artistic talent is set to leave Swansea College for horizons new.
Among them are a group of six students recently honored as part of the annual ‘Festival of the Arts’ exhibition at the Llwyn y Bryn campus.
These students were presented with awards for Quality and Innovation in their respective areas, after a tough judging process conducted by staff from Swansea Metropolitan University.
The award winners were [Media] Gareth Bailey, [Photography] Rachel Jacobsen, [Graphics] Sarah Tanner, [Fashion] Sabina Khatun, [Fine Art] Luisa Zilio and [Sculpture/3D] Mark Sorensen.
“We are extremely proud of all our graduating students this year, many of whom are now progressing to Higher Education across the country, from Cardiff and Carmarthen to Bristol and London,” says Deputy Director of Faculty Diane Williams. “The ‘Festival of the Arts’ is a wonderful way to end the year, a real celebration of success and achievement.”
