RNLI Barry Dock lifeboat called to sixth incident

The Royal National Lifeboat Institution’s Barry Dock lifeboat were called to a sixth incident and its volunteer lifeboat crew assisted three girls ashore.

This was the sixth incident in four days for the RNLI Barry Dock lifeboat crew. The RNLI lifeboat was called out at 7:15pm to three girls who were having difficulty in returning to shore in the Whitmore Bay area. The RNLI Barry Dock crew launched the all-weather lifeboat and the ‘boarding’ boat. The ‘boarding’ boat picked up the girls and took them ashore to safety.
