Beaumaris RNLI Lifeboat crew have two call outs in the 24 hours

The volunteer crew were first call out was at 7:25pm, Sunday 27 June when the crew were tasked with searching the water between Menai Bridge and Caernarfon for a 27 year old missing man.

The missing man was eventually located and the crew were stood down. They were back at the station, refuelled and ready for active service at 10:25pm.

The second call out was at 3:30pm yesterday, Monday 28 June. A boat had come off its mooring at Beaumaris and was on the sandbanks opposite Friars Bay. The crew attempted to reach the boat but with a rapidly falling tide were unable to so returned to the station at 4:05pm.
