The Croeserw Youth Action Group picked up the award at the South Wales Police Community Safety Awards last week.
They were nominated for and won the Volunteer Award in the team category and then were judged to be the overall Volunteer Award winners.

Leader of Neath Port Talbot Council, Ali Thomas, congratulates the young people for their unfailing efforts to improve the lives of people living in their neighbourhood.
“So often we hear of negative activities by young people,” he said, “But here is an example of a group of young people who are taking pride in their communities and becoming good citizens.
“I am delighted to see that their good work is being rewarded by the Police.
