‘We’re Listening’ – the formal consultation on exciting proposals to transform education in Blaenau Gwent with 21st Century Schools – is underway.
The Council has agreed a new approach to consultation with pupils, parents, teachers, governors and local people that encourages open communication.
The consultation will include eight open days in early July, street surveys and sessions with pupils, governors and staff. It ends on 14 August 2010.
14,000 booklets with 50 pages of information have been distributed to parents of school pupils and summary leaflets sent to every household in Blaenau Gwent.
