Works are underway on new road layouts to help manage extra traffic generated by Llandrindod Wells’ new Tesco store.
It is anticipated that the new superstore will generate additional traffic. To help manage traffic flow the crossroads and right turn lane at Fiveways junction will be replaced with a small roundabout and new traffic signals with a pedestrian phase will also be introduced at the junction of Temple Street and South Crescent where there was previously a zebra crossing.
Temporary Traffic Signals are currently in place at Fiveways junction and work is expected to be complete before the start of the Royal Welsh Show in July.
