Police on Anglesey are appealing for witnesses following a spate of marine – related thefts around the island.
Outboard engines, boats on trailers, fuel tanks and other marine items have been stolen at various locations across Anglesey.
Sergeant Andy McGregor from the Neighbourhood Policing team said: “I would urge anyone who owns a boat or any other marine equipment to ensure that they remove all items of value from the craft and where this is not possible, to ensure that they are security marked and that a record is kept of serial numbers.
“For security advice please contact the Anglesey Neighbourhood Policing team, who will be pleased to help, on 101.”
