A Prep School teacher at St Clare’s School in Porthcawl has had her debut children’s novel published.
Michelle Thomas wrote “Bubble World and the Enchanted Garden” over the summer last year and realised she had a potential success on her hands when she read it to her pupils in class and they were enthralled by it. The pupils didn’t know the book was written by Mrs Thomas initially and were amazed when they found out. They even got a sneak preview of the ending just before it was published.
The idea came to her when she imagined a world where she could escape from the mundane things in life and float away to a Bubble World to have an exciting adventure.
The follow up book “Bubble World at the Olympics” will follow in the Autumn and Mrs Thomas hopes that these books will be the first in a long series of “Bubble World” books.
