Fiery Jack and the Ocean Lounge Bar have joined forces with The Stampede Stunt Company, the Microbeer Festival and many other small businesses and self-employed artists to create a marvellous weekend of Medieval mayhem and marlarky for your pleasure.

Events include:
Joust…
The Stampede Stunt Company presents their incredible knights of Bulwarks Fort, watch them battle on horseback displaying strength and bravery. A classic tale of good versus evil, pick your favourite to support, make lots of noise and witness the fearless jousting extravaganza.
Horse archery…
A demonstration of ancient Mongolian style, stealth and hunting techniques with the recurve horse bow plus see the impressive way the rider’s seem to dance around the horse at full speed performing their trick riding skills.
Musket and wallgun demonstration…
Performed by Tempus Experientia a quick historical story about the weapons and then we set them off (yes, everyone loves a good bang!).
The Fiery Jack Show…
A mix and match of stupid stunts, fiery frolics and marvellous magic to boggle the mind.
Battles, blood, war & everything…
An amazing historical insight into the Battle of Agincourt, performed with gruesome details and traditional Medieval live music by the professional actors of The Direct Theatre Company. This will be a graphic show not to be missed!
Living History…
Tempus Experientia have brough their medieval encampment to Bulwarks Camp to give you a taste of what life could have been like. There will be opportunities to try on period armour to get a real feel of how we used to dress for battle. There will also be children’s entertainment with “HAVE A GO” hobby horse jousting and weapons training.
Tempus Experientia also have the only officially registered hangman left in the country, so if hanging was to be brought back then he would be your man, so watch your step!
“HAVE A GO” archery…
Thisspeaks for itself, it’s an archery range, and you can “HAVE A GO” with a medieval longbow!
MICROBEER TAVERN
They have taken themselves back in time to the Mircobeer Tavern where you can enjoy a traditionally brewed pint of beer and relax in the thought that you are keeping this art alive.
