Beaumaris RNLI goes to the aid of 12 year old boy

The volunteer crew of Beaumaris Lifeboat Station were called out this morning at 11:06am in response to an incident with a 12 year old boy adrift at Abermenai in a 13 foot dory with engine failure.

On arrival at the scene, two of the volunteer lifeboat crew entered the water to reach the casualty. The boy was then transferred to the inshore lifeboat and the dory towed to the nearest slipway where it was handed over to the owner. The RNLI were assisted by Llandwrog Coastguard.
