Are you aged between 10-18 years of age and have you ever wanted to perform live on stage? Then look no further! The Owen Money Theatre Company, in association with Rhondda Cynon Taf Cultural Services’ Take pART scheme, are looking for young, energetic people to join them in this year’s pantomime production, ‘Aladdin’.
Starring Owen Money, the production of Aladdin will be performed at the Muni Arts Centre, Pontypridd, from Tuesday, December 15 to Sunday, December 27, 2009.
Auditions to join the Take pART ‘Panto Crew’ as a dancer and chorus member for the production will be held at the Muni Arts Centre, Pontypridd on Monday, September 14 between 5pm and 7pm.
To audition, you must be aged between 10 and 18 and be available for the performance dates in December. Registration in advance is essential. Once you have been registered, you will be given an audition time.
On Monday, September 14, you must have a prepared dance piece that lasts no longer than one and a half minutes and be able to sing a verse and chorus of any song of your choice. Remember to bring your selected dance music on CD to the audition and you must have a registration form to audition. Rehearsals will be held every week on Tuesday evenings up to the start of the pantomime.
