A Tredegar garage is putting up a reward following a robbery that occurred on Monday 20th September 2010.
It happened on Commercial Street, outside Lidl’s at approximately 12.30pm.
A female employee of David Taylor Garages was on her way, with another female colleague, to the post office to bank money.
She was carrying a rucksack containing the cash and was approached from behind. The offender – a male approximately five feet seven inches tall, of slim build – grabbed the grey and black Nike ruck sack and ran off. The offender ran off behind the Gwent MOT Service Station and toward Cefn Glas and Stocktonville housing estates.
The female received minor injuries to her shoulder and was left shaken.
The garage is putting up a £1000 reward for information leading to the conviction of the offender.
