Angela Burns AM will be chairing a meeting in Whitland with regards to Renewable Energy; this exciting new forum will start on Thursday 14th October at 7pm in Whitland Town Hall.
The aim of the meeting is to form a not for profit community interest group which will explore all available renewable energy options for our communities, look to setting up viable schemes with the help of any available Welsh, UK and European funds and then to ensure that any profits are invested back into the local community.
I am writing to all residents in the area to invite you to come and find out what we are trying to do and to find people, who may be interested to join the group, sit on the executive committee and take an active role in making this happen!
This has been done very successfully in other parts of Wales to the benefit of many rural communities and I hope we can follow in their steps to see action and results!
