A major County swimming event takes place later this month.
The Pembrokeshire Age Group Championships will be held at Haverfordwest Leisure Centre on the 23/24th October.
The annual championships, in which local swimming clubs compete against each other, is an opportunity for the County’s young swimmers to prove themselves.
With full electronic timing and a scoreboard, the event acts as a springboard for the County’s top young swimmers to achieve times that enable them to qualify for higher standards of competition outside the County.
At last year’s event over 160 swimming records were set.
Organisers are also now looking for club volunteers to help run the event.
Twenty officials are needed to fulfill the licensing criteria. If you are a volunteer club coach or official and can help please contact your local swimming club.
Clubs taking part will be the Milford Haven Tigers, Fishguard Flyers, Haverfordwest Seals, Tenby Dolphins and Pembroke & District.
