An innovative website has been launched to raise awareness and give information about road safety in Gwynedd in Ysgol Gynradd Llanrug.
The website www.dyffgwynedd.net is for all road users in the county with special sections for children and adults as well as games, competitions and educational activities.
There’s easy access on the website to various information regarding road safety and Carys Ofalus (Careful Carys), Gwynedd Council’s road safety character and her friends – Y Criw Craff – will be sure to draw the youngsters to the website.
Councillor Gareth Roberts, Gwynedd Council’s Senior Portfolio Leader for the Environment said:
“From walkers to cyclists, ensuring safety on our roads is of utmost important to Gwynedd Council.
“This new website is vital to raise the public’s awareness of the dangers on our roads and there are numerous links to other websites for more information also available.”
