Women’s Regional preview

The WRU Women’s Regional championship kicks off this Sunday with title holders Scarlets hosting the Dragons and the Blues travelling to the Ospreys.

The Scarlets have named a strong side for the pipe-opener against the Dragons with five backs having tasted international experience while prop Catrin Edwards will lead the charge up front alongside new skipper Sioned Harries.

The Dragons are a mix of youth and experience with Clare Flowers, Rhian Bowden and Jamie Kift bringing plenty of power and pace to the side.
