The Royal British Legion have once again organised a Two Minute Silence in Wrexham to mark Armistice Day. It will take place on Thursday, 11 November 2010, outside the Old Library in Queen’s Square in Wrexham town centre.
At 10.59am, a bugler will sound the “Last Post” and at 11.00am, the County Borough Museum’s Wartime Air Raid Siren will sound in the town centre. The Two Minute Silence will be led by the Mayor of Wrexham, Cllr Jim Kelly, KSG. Members of the public are welcome to observe the silence.
A bugler will then play “Reveille”, following the conclusion of the two minute silence.
