Performing Arts students at Gower College Swansea will entertain around 2000 school pupils with a festive pantomime at Llwyn y Bryn.
‘Adventures in Candy Land,’ which tells the story of the kidnap of the Mayor of Candy Land by the evil witch sisters Sweet and Sour, has been devised by National Diploma students.
A week of school shows will culminate with one public performance on Friday 10th December at 7pm.
“Devising and writing the script for a festive show suitable for children is an important part of the students’ coursework,” says lecturer Rachel Dooley. “They have been working really hard on this project, drawing on traditional pantomime themes while adding their own creative spin.”
Tickets are now on sale for the 10th December evening performance, priced £3/£2 with concessions. Please contact 01792 284021.
