On Wednesday 1st December, 2010 the Toy Library at Cwm Golau Integrated Children’s Centre (ICC) is re-launching its toy lending service.
The Library, which has been in operation for 5 years, is a free service to the general public and allows members to borrow 3 toys for up to 1 month. A wide variety of toys are available for all age-ranges, from 0 to 11 years old. Special Education Needs toys are also available.
With a newly appointed Toy Librarian, the service is extending its reach to families and groups all over the County Borough through the provision of community based satellites, home visits and extended opening times at the existing Toy Library based at the ICC in Pentrebach.
The Toy Library wants to make play accessible for every child, because play matters!
An Open Day is being held at Cwm Golau ICC Pentrebach on Wednesday 1st December 2010 from 9am – 3pm. Please come along, have a cup of tea, a piece of cake and find out more about our resources and services.
