Gwent Police is appealing for information following a property being broken into on Queens Close in Newport.
The break in was reported to police at midday on Sunday 14th November but may have occurred up to a week prior to this.
A significant number of items were stolen including several pieces of jewellery of high sentimental value:
- Two “Seiko” watches (one men’s and one lady’s)
- Two gold ruby rings
- A gold ‘rope’ style necklace
- A pair of gold Rennie Mackintosh art deco design earrings
- A white gold 8 banded puzzle ring
- 1 gold Maltese cross and chain with matching earrings
- 1 octagon shaped jewellery box (about 4 inches x 4 inches) with mosaic mother of pearl
The incident is currently under investigation.
