Pembrokeshire’s tourist information centres have raised £300 for a breast cancer charity.
Staff at all seven of the County Council run TIC’s – along with other workplaces – went pink every Friday last month to mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
TIC staff donned pink costumes and sold pin badges and cakes to raise funds for Breast Cancer Care.
TIC Manager Jenny Hart is pictured presenting their fund raising cheque to Breast Cancer Care peer support volunteer, Sheila Ralph, who works at Pembroke TIC.
“I’m delighted with the efforts of our TIC staff and the amount we raised, especially as it was ‘out of season’ said Jenny Hart.
“We’re all looking for ward to doing our bit and going pink again next year.”
