Gwent Police is appealing for information following a robbery that occurred in a lane between Forsythia Close and Manor Way, Ty Sign, Risca at approximately 1.30pm on Monday 15th November. A 20 year old woman was approached by three males demanding money, she handed over some money and was then assaulted which resulted in her receiving some bruising to her face.
The three males are described as being :
1. Mid 20s, white, approx. 6ft, of stocky build. He was wearing a black baseball cap, navy hoody, black scarf over face and very dark denim jeans
2. Mid 20s, white, approx. 5ft 8, of slim build with a pierced right eyebrow with an orange ball either end. He was wearing a dark navy hoody, dark scarf, and baggy white tracksuit bottoms.
3. Mid 20s, white, approx. 5ft 10 of stocky build. He was wearing a dark hoody, dark scarf, dark denim jeans.
This is an isolated and a rare incident to have occurred in this area, Gwent Police haven’t had any other similar incidents reported to us.
