Cwmcarn Forest welcomes Father Christmas to winter wonderland

This year make your child’s visit to Father Christmas a truly magical experience.

Cwmcarn Forest in the Nantcarn Valley near Crosskeys has pulled out all the stops to ensure children get a memorable visit. The journey starts right as you step into the grotto where you’ll follow snow-covered valleys; all dotted around a path leading to Father Christmas’s grotto. With the perfect mix of anticipation, music, lighting and a winter wonderland of Christmas scenes, it really is a wonderful family experience. All this for just £5.00 per child which includes a gift and photo.

Father Christmas is in residence at Cwmcarn Forest Visitor Centre on the 4/5th, 11/12th & 18/19th December from 10.00am until 12.30pm & 1.00pm until 4.00pm (last entry 3.30pm).

Cwmcarn Forest is the perfect setting for a stroll in the wooded valley; enjoy the crisp winter air and stunning views across the valley. Then take a well-deserved rest and enjoy a delicious hot drink or meal in Raven’s café located in the Visitor Centre.

Cwmcarn Forest has undergone a major transformation with a new £2 million Visitor Centre opened in 2008. The new two-storey Centre boasts also boasts a gift shop, children’s play area and outside viewing area. The Centre provides improved facilities and an annual events programme to suit the growing number of visitors.
