Gwent Police is appealing for information and witnesses following an assault that occurred in Pontypool at approximately 3.50pm on 11th December.
Two men entered A B Stores on George Street, Pontypool, stole a crate of lager and when the shop assistant tried to intervene he was assaulted. The offenders produced a knife and then made off on foot. The shop assistant was left with facial bruising.
The first offender is described as white, approximately 25 years old, of stocky build and approximately 5’8’’ tall. He was clean shaven and wore a black hooded top with the hood up.
The second offender is described as approximately 27 years old, of slim build and around 6’2’’ tall. He was clean shaven with light short hair with a red stripe down the left side of his head and no front teeth. He was wearing a white hooded top and black jeans.
