Motor vessel towed to safety by Angle inshore lifeboat

Angle RNLI’s inshore lifeboat was alerted at 4.21pm on Monday (3 January) to assist a 5 metre motor vessel which had broken down in the Milford Haven Waterway.

The vessel, with two people on board, was at anchor at Newton Noyes, near Milford. A tow was passed and the inshore lifeboat, Richard John Talbot Hillier, took the vessel to Neyland Yacht Club, where they were met by a team from HM Coastguard.

The lifeboat was crewed by volunteers Mark Lynas (Helmsman), Mervyn Lunn and Mike Young.
