Tourism brochures up for grabs

Denbighshire has released its all new tourism brochures for 2011.

The new North Wales Borderlands brochure, put together in conjunction with Wrexham and Flintshire, showcases the region’s heritage, culture, attractions, food and shopping.

Also released is the new Rhyl and Prestatyn Funtime brochure 2011 setting out the exciting attractions to be enjoyed at these two seaside resorts.

60,000 of these brochures will be distributed and delivered to consumer homes via advertising campaigns, promotion at exhibitions, Visit Wales promotion, direct mail and through the UK’s Tourist Information Centre network, as well as the websites www.northwalesborderlands.co.uk and www.visitrhylandprestatyn.com.

This year, the brochures will also be available as an application for the IPhone, IPad and IPod which puts Rhyl and Prestatyn and North Wales Borderlands in front of a whole new audience world wide! The first version of the apps allows users to view all pages of the publication on screen, zooming in when required and swiping across the screen to change pages. The apps will be under constant development and there are some exciting features planned for future versions.

Visit Apple’s App store and search under ‘Rhyl‘ and ‘North Wales’.  The apps are available to download and install for free.
