You’d be surprised at what goes on in your library. Monmouthshire Libraries offer a fantastic range of free services for all ages to explore and enjoy. There’s something new for everyone in 2011.
Why not try our baby rhyme times (monthly in Abergavenny, fortnightly in Caldicot and Chepstow and weekly in Monmouth) for the very young or our First Click short courses for Internet beginners running in all our libraries throughout 2011. If you are interested in family history there are regular helpdesk sessions in Monmouth, Caldicot and Chepstow.
The libraries stock an exciting range of books for all ages. Come in to find out more or browse our catalogue online. We encourage reading groups by providing reading group sets and advice. Caldicot library is setting up a new reading group in January which meets on the last Tuesday of each month at 6pm and there are spaces in existing groups in Chepstow.
During January all our libraries will be promoting books on CD. We’re always trying to find alternative formats for customers to enjoy. Abergavenny and Caldicot are launching Playaway audio books in 2011 and we would love to know what you think.
