Police investigate aggravated burglary at Ammanford busines

Police in Ammanford are hunting two men who stole a quantity of cash from a business in Penybanc, Ammanford.

The incident happened just before 11pm on Saturday 15th January 2011 at the Asia Kitchen.

“Two men entered a private area of the premises and stole a quantity of cash,” said Detective Inspector Steve Cockwell. “They were disturbed by staff who noticed that one of the offenders was in possession of a knife.

“Both males are described as white, skinny build and aged approximately 20 years. Both were wearing dark jeans and black hooded tops. One male was described as approximately 6’1 with short dark hair, shaven at the sides and longer on top. The second male was shorter, approximately 5’8, with a more rounded face. He also had short dark hair.

“The two males made off from the premises on foot.”

Police are appealing information for any witnesses to contact the CID office at Ammanford by telephoning 101. Alternatively, information may be passed anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111
