As part of its extensive Capital works programme to improve the road condition, Denbighshire County Council are to resurface the B5120 Ffordd Pendyffryn between its junction with the A547 Meliden Road and Ffordd Penisardre, Prestatyn.
The works will commence on Sunday 30 January 2011 and take approximately 2 weeks to complete.
Denbighshire County Council will also resurface the A547 Meliden road between the Cross Foxes Public House and Bryntirion Drive, Prestatyn.
The works will commence on Saturday 19 February and take approximately 2 weeks to complete.
To facilitate the works safely, a section of the B5120 Ffordd Pendyffryn between its junction with Fforddisa and the A547 Meliden Road will be closed to vehicular traffic on Sunday 20 and 27 February 2011. Alternative diversion routes will be signed accordingly.
Vehicular access to properties will continue to be available but some delay and disruption should be expected.
Traffic lights or stop/go boards will be in operation for the duration of the works.
Denbighshire County Council apologises for any delay and disruption that maybe caused as a consequence of this essential maintenance work.
